Dart - a new weapon to empower the few, cripple the significant and confuse the rest.

I would love to replace JavaScript with a modern language. However, Dart has chosen to continue with the inadequate type safety and failed runtime optimization of JavaScript. Therefore, I see no reason that Dart is any better that JavaScript.

Either Web Browsers will need to support every programming paradigm or they will need to support a virtual machine. Supporting a virtual machine would be easier in the long run. The sooner the industry accepts this reality the better.
